حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ
Body (Matn)
أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْلَا أَنْ لَا تَدَافَنُوا لَدَعَوْتُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يُسْمِعَكُمْ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us — and Yazid said: Shu'bah informed us — from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Were it not that you would stop burying your dead, I would have asked Allah (عز وجل) to let you hear of the punishment of the grave.'
