حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا
عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ مَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ أَوْ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ

English Translation
'Abd al-Malik and 'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, they said: Hisham narrated to us — and 'Abd al-Wahhab said: Hisham informed us — from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is no contagion and no evil omen, but I am pleased by a good omen.' They said: 'What is a good omen?' He said: 'A good word.'
