English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that Abu Musa (رضي الله عنه) asked the Prophet ﷺ for a mount, but he happened to find him occupied. He said: 'By Allah, I will not give you a mount.' When he turned to leave, he called him back. Abu Musa said: 'You swore not to give us a mount.' He ﷺ said: 'And I swear by Allah that if Allah wills, whenever I swear an oath then see something better, I do what is better and expiate for my oath.'
