حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ وَثَابِتٌ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقُرْآنَ بِالْحَمْدِ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Hammad informed us, he said: Qatadah, Thabit, and Humayd informed us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman (رضي الله عنهم) used to begin the recitation with Al-Hamdu lillahi Rabb al-'Alamin (Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds).
