حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ لِنَاس
ٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى الْبَحْرَيْنِ فَقَالُوا لَا إِلَّا أَنْ تَكْتُبَ لِإِخْوَانِنَا مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِثْلَهَا فَدَعَاهُمْ فَأَبَوْا قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي

English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari narrated to us, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrating that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted to write a document for some of the Ansar granting them land in Bahrain. They said: 'Not until you write a similar document for our brothers from Quraysh.' He did not have enough land for that, so he said: 'You will find others given preference over you after me, so be patient until you meet me at the Hawd.'
