English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) — and Abu Kamil said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas — who said: the Prophet ﷺ was the most beautiful of people, the most generous of people, and the most courageous of people. One night the people of Madinah were alarmed, and the people went toward the sound. the Prophet ﷺ met them coming back, having already investigated the matter on a horse belonging to Abu Talhah that was unsaddled, with a sword around his neck. He said: 'Do not be afraid, do not be afraid.'
