حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ ا

لْخَيْرَ خَيْرُ الْآخِرَةِ أَوْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا خَيْرَ إِلَّا خَيْرُ الْآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَقُولُ هَذَا فِي قَصَصِهِ

English Translation

Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah — Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: 'The (true) good is the good of the Hereafter' — or he said: 'O Allah, there is no good except the good of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun.'
