English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to me, from Abu Sadaqah, the freed slave of Anas — and Shu'bah spoke well of him — he said: I asked Anas (رضي الله عنه) about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Dhuhr when the sun declined. And he would pray 'Asr between these two prayers (Dhuhr and Maghrib). And he would pray Maghrib when the sun had set. And he would pray 'Isha' when the twilight had disappeared. And he would pray Fajr — a man would leave and could not recognize the face of the person sitting next to him, or he would recognize him.
