English Translation

'Ubaydah ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ went out and the Ansar met him among themselves. He said: 'By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I love you. My eyes weep and my heart grieves for you. The Ansar have fulfilled their part, and there remain those who have not fulfilled theirs. Accept from their good-doers and overlook their wrong-doers.'
