English Translation
Isma'il informed us, Sulayman al-Taymi informed us, Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us, he said: It was mentioned to me that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ said — though I did not hear it from him: 'Among you are people who worship and exert themselves' — meaning they are amazed by themselves — 'until people are amazed by them, yet they pass through the religion as an arrow passes through its target.'
