حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ ن

َخْلًا لِأُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا الْغَرْسَ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ قَالُوا مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ لَا يَغْرِسُ مُسْلِمٌ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَائِرٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً

English Translation

Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated from Umm Mubashshir (رضي الله عنها), the wife of Zayd ibn Harithah (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ entered upon her in a palm garden of hers and said: "The trees of Paradise — all of them are gold." And he said: "No Muslim who plants a tree or cultivates a crop from which birds, humans, or animals eat except that it is charity for him."
