حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو
Body (Matn)
الْعَوَّامِ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ أَبِي وَهُوَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ دَاوَرَ وَهُوَ أَعْمَى حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ وَهُوَ أَعْمَى
English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated: the Prophet ﷺ used to appoint Ibn Umm Maktum (رضي الله عنه) as his deputy over Madinah, and he would lead the people in prayer. He was a blind man.
