English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) said: "I have never seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ grieve over anything as much as he grieved over the companions of Bi'r Ma'unah. They were called 'the reciters,' and they were seventy men. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated against their killers in the qunut of the dawn prayer for thirty mornings, supplicating against Ri'l, Dhakwan, and Lihyan."
