حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَدُنَا يَلْقَى صَدِيقَهُ أَيَنْحَن
ِي لَهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا قَالَ فَيَلْتَزِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَيُصَافِحُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِنْ شَاءَ

English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, when one of us meets his friend, should he bow to him?" the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No." He said: "Should he embrace him and kiss him?" He said: "No." He said: "Should he take his hand and shake it?" He said: "Yes."
