English Translation

Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrated: Umm Sulaym took him by the hand when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Madinah and said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is my son Anas, a literate boy." the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed." So I served him during his travels and at home. By Allah, he never said to me about anything I did: "Why did you do this?" nor about anything I did not do: "Why did you not do this?"
