English Translation

Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrated: the Prophet ﷺ was wounded in the face on the day of Uhud. His front tooth was broken, and he was struck by an arrow on his shoulder. Blood flowed down his face while he was wiping it away, saying: "How can a people who wound the face of their Prophet prosper while he calls them to their Lord?" Then Allah (عز وجل) revealed: 'It is not for you to decide' [3:128].
