حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ رَدَّدَهَا ثَلَاثًا وَإِذَا أَتَى قَوْمًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَلَاثًا
English Translation
Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrated: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he spoke a word, would repeat it three times so that it would be understood from him. And when he came to a group of people, he would greet them three times.
