حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ و

َسَلَّمَ لَمَّا حَلَقَ بَدَأَ بِشِقِّ رَأْسِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ فَحَلَقَهُ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ قَالَ ثُمَّ حَلَقَ شِقَّ رَأْسِهِ الْأَيْسَرَ فَقَسَمَهُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ

English Translation

Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه): When the Prophet ﷺ had his head shaved, he began with the right side of his head, which was shaved first, then he gave the hair to Abu Talhah (رضي الله عنه). Then the left side was shaved and he gave that hair to Abu Talhah as well.
