English Translation
Hammad ibn Khalid narrated to us, Abdullah — meaning al-Umari — narrated to us, he said I heard Umm Yahya who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) saying: A son of Abu Talhah (رضي الله عنه) died, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed over him. Abu Talhah stood and asked the Prophet ﷺ about certain matters, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'Go back to your wife.' So he went back to her, and she conceived that night. They later had a child, and the Prophet ﷺ was given some dates to chew and soften (tahnik) for the newborn.
