حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَتَى السَّاعَ
ةُ فَقَالَ مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا فَقَالَ مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَثِيرِ صَلَاةٍ وَلَا صَوْمٍ وَلَا صَدَقَةٍ إِلَّا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَالَ أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, narrating from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that a man asked the Prophet ﷺ: 'When is the Hour?' He said: 'What have you prepared for it?' The man said: 'Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger.' He ﷺ said: 'You will be with those whom you love.' Anas said: We had never rejoiced at anything as much as we rejoiced at the Prophet ﷺ's saying: 'You will be with those whom you love.'
