حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِقَتَادَةَ أَسَمِعْتَ أَنَسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ ص

َلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ الْبُصَاقُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَطِيئَةٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَكَفَّارَتُهُ دَفْنُهُ

English Translation
Hajjaj (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that i heard Shu'bah narrating, he said: I asked Qatadah: 'Did you hear Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrating from the Prophet ﷺ that he used to say: Spitting in the mosque is a sin?' He said: 'Yes, and its expiation is to bury it.'
