Hadith #77
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ جَمَعَ الْأَنْصَارَ فَقَالَ هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ قَالُو
ا لَا إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍ لَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَوْ قَالَ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ أَنَسٍ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, he informed me from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he gathered the Ansar, said: 'Is there anyone among you who is not from you?' They said: 'No, except a nephew of ours.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The nephew of a people is one of them.'
