حَدَّثَنَا الْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّ
ادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ بِهِنَّ حَلَاوَةَ الْإِيمَانِ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ عَنْ الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْعَبْدُ الْعَبْدَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Mu'ammal ibn Isma'il and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Three things, whoever has them will find the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else; that he loves a person only for the sake of Allah; and that he hates to return to disbelief after Allah has saved him from it, just as he would hate to be thrown into the Fire.'
