English Translation

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq who said: Humayd al-Tawil narrated to me, from Anas ibn Malik al-Ansari (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he approached a town at night, would not attack it until morning came. If he heard the adhan, he would refrain from them, and if he did not hear the adhan, he would attack after dawn.
