تَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَيْنِ مِنْ مَالٍ لَابْتَغَى وَادِيًا ثَالِثًا وَلَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ

English Translation

Hasan narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would desire a third valley. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. And Allah accepts the repentance of whoever repents.'
