حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ جَالِسٌ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّ هَذَا فِي اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ الل
َّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرْتَهُ بِذَلِكَ قَالَ لَا قَالَ قُمْ فَأَخْبِرْهُ تَثْبُتْ الْمَوَدَّةُ بَيْنَكُمَا فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ فِي اللَّهِ أَوْ قَالَ أُحِبُّكَ لِلَّهِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَحَبَّكَ الَّذِي أَحْبَبْتَنِي فِيهِ

English Translation
Mu'ammal narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'A man passed by the Prophet ﷺ while another man was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ. The man said: By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I love this man for the sake of Allah. the Prophet ﷺ said: Have you informed him? He said: No. He said: Go and inform him. So he went to him and said: I love you for the sake of Allah. He replied: May the One for Whose sake you love me love you.'
