حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعُ

قَيْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَهْلِينَ مِنْ النَّاسِ وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَهْلُ اللَّهِ وَخَاصَّتُهُ

English Translation

Mu'ammal narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Budayl ibn Maysarah al-'Uqayli narrated to us, he said: my father narrated to me, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah (عز وجل) has His own people from among mankind.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who are they?' He said: 'The people of the Quran — they are the people of Allah and His special ones.'
