Hadith #216

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنْ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ فِي بَعْضِ حُجَرِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِشْقَصٍ أَوْ مَشَاقِصَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَخْتِلُهُ لِيَطْعَنَهُ
English Translation
Ishaq ibn 'Isa narrated to us, Hammad — meaning Ibn Zayd — narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, from his grandfather Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that a man peeked into one of the rooms of the Prophet ﷺ. the Prophet ﷺ stood up with a broad-headed arrow — or arrows. It is as if I can see him now, lurking to stab the man.
