'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited al-Wisal (continuous fasting without breaking). They said: 'But you practice Wisal.' He said: 'I am not like any of you. My Lord feeds me and gives me drink throughout the night.'
