English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm narrated to us who said: Anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked about the takbir in prayer while I was listening. He said: 'He would say the takbir when he bowed, when he prostrated, when he raised his head from prostration, and when he stood between the two rak'ahs.' Abu Hurayrah said: 'Our prayer most resembles the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' Anas said: 'And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do all of this.'
