حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاذَا تَرَى نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ قَالَ إِنَّ
اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ { لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ } وَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي مَالٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَرْضِي بَيْرُحَاءَ وَإِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ بِهَا إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَخٍ بَخٍ بَيْرُحَاءُ خَيْرٌ رَابِحٌ فَقَسَمَهَا بَيْنَهُمْ حَدَائِقَ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah informed us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that Abu Talhah came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was on the minbar and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, there is hunger among the people, and the sky has not rained.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and supplicated. It clouded over before he descended from the minbar, and it rained until the following Friday. Then Abu Talhah stood and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the roads are cut off.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Allah, around us and not upon us.' The clouds dispersed right and left, and it rained around Madinah but not a drop fell on it.
