مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'The son of Adam grows old, but two things in him remain young: greed for wealth and greed for life.'
