Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَاصُّو صُفُوفَكُمْ وَقَارِ
بُوا بَيْنَهَا وَحَاذُوا بِالْأَعْنَاقِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأَرَى الشَّيَاطِينَ تَدْخُلُ مِنْ خَلَلِ الصَّفِّ كَأَنَّهَا الْحَذَفُ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ إِنِّي لَأَرَى الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ

English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir and Affan narrated to us, they said: Aban narrated to us, from Qatadah; Aswad said: Anas ibn Malik narrated to us that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Close your rows, bring them near together, and align your necks. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I see the Shaytan entering through the gaps in the rows like small black sheep."
