حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ عَادَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُلَامًا كَانَ يَخْدُمُهُ يَهُودِيًّا فَقَالَ لَهُ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَجَعَلَ يُنْظَرُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ قُلْ مَا يَق
ُولُ لَكَ قَالَ فَقَالَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخِيكُمْ وَقَالَ غَيْرُ أَسْوَدَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ قُلْ مَا يَقُولُ لَكَ مُحَمَّدٌ

English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Isa, from Abdullah ibn Jabr, from Anas who said: the Prophet ﷺ visited a Jewish boy who used to serve him and was sick. He said to him: "Say 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah)." The boy looked at his father who was there, and his father said: "Obey Abu al-Qasim." So the boy said it, and the Prophet ﷺ left saying: "Praise be to Allah Who saved him from the Fire."
