حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ فِي تَفْسِيرِ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ

قَالَ سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَبْصَرَهُمْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ قَالُوا هَؤُلَاءِ الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ

English Translation

Husayn narrated to us, in the tafsir of Shayban, from Qatadah who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: I heard the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ say: "When the people of Paradise see them, they will say: 'These are the Jahannamiyyun (those who came out of Hellfire).' They will be recognized by the marks of prostration on them, for the Fire consumes everything of the son of Adam except the marks of prostration. Allah has forbidden the Fire from consuming the marks of prostration."
