حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ فِي تَفْسِيرِ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ الرُّبَيِّعِ أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ أَلَا تُحَدِّثُنِي عَنْ حَارِثَةَ وَكَانَ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَصَابَهُ سَ
هْمٌ غَرْبٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ صَبَرْتُ وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ أَجْتَهِدُ عَلَيْهِ الْبُكَاءَ فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ إِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ ابْنَكِ أَصَابَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ قَتَادَةُ وَالْفِرْدَوْسُ رَبْوَةُ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَوْسَطُهَا وَأَفْضَلُهَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Husayn narrated to us, in the tafsir of Shayban, from Qatadah, Anas ibn Malik narrated to us that al-Rubayyi', the mother of Harithah ibn Suraqah, came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, will you not tell me about Harithah?' He was killed on the Day of Badr by a stray arrow. 'If he is in Paradise, I will be patient; and if it is other than that, I will weep intensely for him.' He ﷺ said: "O Umm Harithah, there are gardens in Paradise, and your son has attained al-Firdaws al-A'la (the highest Paradise)."
