حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ إِمَامٍ
قَطُّ أَخَفَّ وَأَتَمَّ مِنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sharik ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Namir informed us, from Anas ibn Malik who said: I never prayed behind any imam whose prayer was lighter yet more complete than the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. If he heard a child crying, he would lighten the prayer out of concern that the child's mother might be distressed.
