Hadith #449

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ إِنَّ أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ هَلَكَ حَارِثَةُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَصَابَهُ سَهْمٌ غَر
ْبٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَوْقِعَ حَارِثَةَ مِنْ قَلْبِي فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَلَمْ أَبْكِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَسَوْفَ تَرَى مَا أَصْنَعُ فَقَالَ لَهَا هَبِلْتِ أَوَجَنَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ هِيَ إِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْفِرْدَوْسِ الْأَعْلَى
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Isma'il informed us, he said: Humayd informed me, from Anas who said: The mother of Harithah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after Harithah had been killed on the Day of Badr, struck by a stray arrow. She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you know the place of Harithah in my heart. If he is in Paradise, I will be patient and seek reward. But if it is otherwise, you will see what I will do.' He ﷺ said: "O Umm Harithah, there are many gardens in Paradise, and your son has attained al-Firdaws al-A'la."
