English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Talaqani narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Ishaq ibn Abi Talhah, from Anas ibn Malik who said: Abu Talhah used to shield the Prophet ﷺ with his body on the Day of Uhud. Abu Talhah was a strong archer who broke two or three bows that day. When a man passed carrying a quiver of arrows, the Prophet ﷺ would say: "Spread them out for Abu Talhah."
