حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَخْضِبْ قَطُّ إِنَّمَا كَانَ الْبَي
َاضُ فِي مُقَدَّمِ لِحْيَتِهِ وَفِي الْعَنْفَقَةِ قَلِيلًا وَفِي الرَّأْسِ نَبْذٌ يَسِيرٌ لَا يَكَادُ يُرَى وَقَالَ الْمُثَنَّى وَالصُّدْغَيْنِ قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَاه عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Attab narrated to us, Ubaydullah informed us, al-Muthanna ibn Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ never dyed his hair at all. The whiteness was only in the front of his beard and below the lower lip, and in the sides of his head were a few white hairs.
