حَدَّثَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَخْضِبْ قَطُّ إِنَّمَا كَانَ الْبَيَاضُ فِي مُقَدَّ
مِ لِحْيَتِهِ فِي الْعَنْفَقَةِ قَلِيلًا وَفِي الرَّأْسِ نَبْذٌ يَسِيرٌ لَا يَكَادُ يُرَى و قَالَ الْمُثَنَّى وَالصُّدْغَيْنِ قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَاه عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
English Translation
Humayd al-Tawil informed us, from Anas ibn Malik who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never dyed his hair at all. The whiteness was only in the front of his beard, in the area below the lower lip, a little, and in his head just a few scattered hairs.
