English Translation

Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Hammad — meaning Ibn Zayd — narrated to us, from Thabit — I do not know it except from Anas (رضي الله عنه) — that a bedouin came to the mosque of the Prophet ﷺ and urinated in it. The people rose to confront him, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Leave him alone and do not interrupt him.' When he finished, the Prophet ﷺ ordered that a bucket of water be poured over it. He ﷺ said, 'You have been sent to make things easy, not to make them difficult.'
