English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad, meaning Ibn Salamah, narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas that Harithah ibn al-Rubayyi' came to [the battle of] Badr as a spectator, and he was a young boy. A stray arrow came and struck the hollow of his throat, killing him. His mother came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you know the place of Harithah in my heart. If he is in Paradise, I will be patient. If not, you will see what I do.' He ﷺ said: "O Umm Harithah, there are many gardens in Paradise, and your son has attained al-Firdaws al-A'la."
