Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ي
ُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ كَرِشِي وَعَيْبَتِي وَإِنَّ النَّاسَ يَكْثُرُونَ وَيَقِلُّونَ فَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَاعْفُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us; and Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Ansar are my innermost confidants and my trusted ones. People will increase while they decrease. So accept from those of them who do good, and overlook those of them who err."
