حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَسُفْيَانُ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ تَزَوَّجَ عَبْدُ

English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas; and Sufyan from Humayd, from Anas ibn Malik who said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf married a woman from the Ansar with a dowry of a date-stone's weight of gold, and that was accepted. the Prophet ﷺ said to him: "Hold a wedding feast, even if with just a sheep."
