حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ ضَخْمًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَامًا وَدَعَا ال
نَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْهِ وَبَسَطُوا لَهُ حَصِيرًا وَنَضَحُوهُ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ الْجَارُودِ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Anas ibn Sirin informed me, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: There was a large man from the Ansar who could not pray with the Prophet ﷺ due to his size. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I cannot pray with you.' He prepared food for the Prophet ﷺ and invited him to his house. He sprinkled water on one end of a mat, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs on it. A man from the family of al-Jarud asked Anas: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ pray the Duha prayer?' He said: 'I never saw him pray it except on that day.'
