English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما), who said: They asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, which jihad is the best?' He said: 'The one whose horse is hamstrung and whose blood is shed.'
