حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ح وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَ

نْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِثَلَاثٍ أَلَا لَا يَمُوتَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُحْسِنُ بِاللَّهِ الظَّنَّ

English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us — and Ibn Numayr, from al-A'mash — from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما), who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say three days before his death: 'Let none of you die except while having a good opinion of Allah (عز وجل).'
