English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, 'Ata' narrated to us, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "Close your door and mention the name of Allah (عز وجل), for indeed Shaytan does not open a closed door. Extinguish your lamp and mention the name of Allah. Cover your vessel even if you only place something across it, and mention the name of Allah. And tie your waterskin and mention the name of Allah."
