Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاتَ الْيَوْمَ عَبْدٌ لِلَّهِ صَالِحٌ أَصْحَمَةُ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَامَ فَأَمَّنَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, 'Ata' narrated to us, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Today a righteous servant of Allah has died — Ashamah.' So he stood and led us in prayer over him." Jabir said: "I was in the second or third row."
